Finding Design Available

Finding Design approaches digital builds through frank scoping conversations, practical technical assessments, and clear cost boundaries. Founded by designer and developer Danielle O'Reilly, the West Midlands practice operates primarily within Squarespace and Shopify, bypassing convoluted corporate jargon in favor of direct technical consultation. Rather than pitching oversized web architectures or unmaintainable custom frameworks to small enterprises, initial evaluations examine whether a platform actually suits the client's day-to-day operational capacity. When an off-the-shelf platform can solve the challenge with clean styling, that route is recommended; when bespoke Liquid or CSS coding is required for unique product logic or service funnels, the structural implications and costs are laid out before development begins.

Project viability assessments dictate the build pathway. Service-led businesses seeking streamlined digital footprints are channeled toward structured builds, such as a Squarespace intensive designed to launch within a single week, or deeper custom builds using bespoke code to enhance standard platform functionality without breaking native editing tools. For e-commerce merchants, Shopify projects balance visual brand identity with inventory workflows, conversion-focused user journeys, and clean store architectures. The studio also serves as an engineering partner for independent brand designers, stepping in to translate static Figma or Adobe XD layouts into functional, responsive web environments while honoring the original art direction.

Milestones remain explicitly tied to deliverable checkpoints rather than open-ended billing cycles. Every build begins with an asset review and layout audit, establishing realistic project timelines before entering styling and custom coding sprints. Code is tested across devices and screen sizes to ensure responsive stability, while checkout flows and third-party integrations undergo functional verification prior to handover.

All client engagements require scheduled advance booking to ensure focused sprint time. Prospective clients are expected to gather high-resolution imagery, finalized page copy, product databases, and brand typography before kicking off an intensive, ensuring the build proceeds smoothly from discovery straight through to domain cutover.
