Founder Shauna Wise brings over twenty-five years of technical garment expertise to the fitting bench, backed by a formal degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and past roles leading high-volume alteration floors as head seamstress at Legacy Tailor. Her technical background even extends into industrial soft-goods aerospace engineering, where she served as quality control manager working on expandable habitat outer layers for the International Space Station. That level of technical discipline directly informs how garments are assessed in the studio today.

Every project begins with a practical assessment of fabric composition, inner structural support, and seam allowances. Rather than promising unfeasible changes, the studio establishes exact project scope boundaries before pins are permanently set. For bridal gowns, pageant wear, and evening attire, this means checking delicate linings, zipper placements, boning rigidity, and horsehair braid hems to evaluate how a modification impacts drape and movement.
