Rodriguez Painting Available

Jorge Rodriguez founded Rodriguez Painting in 2018, bringing more than two decades of field experience to residential and commercial properties throughout Sterrett and Shelby County. Operating with nine dedicated crews, the company manages large-scale exterior coatings, complete interior repaints, and structural wood protection. Every project begins with an emphasis on systematic substrate inspection, identifying settlement cracks, weathered trim, or failing coats before fresh material touches the wall.

The field crews deploy specialized application methods suited to specific architectural surfaces, from multi-story residential siding and brick masonry to high-traffic commercial suites. On interior assignments, technicians protect flooring with heavy drop cloths, fill drywall blemishes, and sand patched areas flush to eliminate surface unevenness. For exterior work, comprehensive pressure washing strips away chalking paint, mildew, and airborne grit, followed by elastomeric caulking at joint seams and spot-priming bare wood. The company relies on durable exterior-grade acrylics and scrub-resistant interior formulations engineered for lasting color retention.

Exterior deck and fence restoration forms another core capability of the firm. In central Alabama's humid climate, horizontal lumber faces accelerated breakdown from ultraviolet rays and moisture absorption. Rodriguez Painting addresses this exposure through deep timber cleaning, mechanical removal of loose grain, and the uniform application of oil or waterborne penetrating stains that prevent rot. Similar control is applied to interior millwork, where controlled enamel leveling produces crisp, streak-free transitions along baseboards, door jambs, and ceiling casings.

Estimates are scheduled during regular weekday business hours between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Property owners preparing for an assessment should note moisture trouble spots, preferred finish sheens, and firm completion deadlines in advance. For interior repaints, clearing small decorative items, fragile tabletop belongings, and electronics from the work area prior to project day ensures that crews can mask perimeters and set protective coverings without delay.
