Reece Underhill Painting & Decorating Available

Reece Underhill Painting & Decorating was founded in 2012 to provide residential and commercial properties throughout the West Midlands with focused decorating solutions. Operating out of Skye Close and servicing communities including Solihull, Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Leamington Spa, and Coventry, the firm centers its trade on clean execution and durable surface applications. Rather than relying on traditional, abrasive preparation routines, the company integrates modern dustless sanding equipment to strip and level walls without coating living quarters in residual plaster dust. This technical baseline ensures that subsequent coatings adhere to completely smoothed substrates.

The company’s portfolio encompasses full interior and exterior redecorations alongside specialized fine-finish spraying. For property owners seeking to modernize existing joinery, spray finishing serves as an efficient alternative to replacement, particularly on kitchen cupboards, built-in shelving, and custom furniture pieces. Each stage of the process follows deliberate technical milestones. Surfaces undergo thorough degreasing, defect filling, and mechanical profiling before receiving specialized primer formulations tailored to the substrate, whether solid timber, composite board, or masonry. When hanging delicate wallpaper patterns or applying multi-coat architectural emulsions, seam alignments and edge cuts around trim are executed with exacting tolerance checks to prevent future peeling, bubbling, or edge curling.

Exterior commissions demand equal technical discipline, accounting for seasonal exposure across brickwork, render, and timber siding. The firm evaluates moisture levels, clears away failing coatings, and utilizes breathable exterior paint systems engineered to withstand British weather cycles without micro-cracking. For commercial environments and busy domestic households, durability remains the guiding factor in product selection, with scrub-rated emulsions specified for high-traffic corridors and moisture-resistant topcoats applied in kitchens and bathrooms to prevent mold accumulation over time.

Prospective clients can secure detailed written estimates by submitting project dimensions, room photographs, and design objectives via the firm’s online inquiry system. Peak decorating seasons during spring and summer regularly create booking queues of several weeks, making early scheduling advisable for whole-property renovations. Prior to arrival on site, property owners are advised to clear loose personal items and ensure unhindered perimeter access around walls and joinery, allowing the team to establish floor protection and set up dust-extraction containment systems immediately upon arrival.
