Welcome to RateRun ("RateRun", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at raterun.net and all associated services, software applications, directories, and invoicing tools (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using RateRun, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
You may use parts of RateRun locally without an account. To access cloud synchronization and premium features, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are solely responsible for activities occurring under your account.
RateRun offers a Free tier and a paid RateRun Pro subscription tier. The current subscription price is clearly displayed on our Pricing Page and during Stripe Checkout.
By subscribing to RateRun Pro, you authorize RateRun (via Stripe) to charge the recurring monthly subscription fee to your designated payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel.
Subscriptions automatically renew each month. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the self-service Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from your RateRun Account / Settings page) or by emailing support. When you cancel, you will continue to have full Pro access until the end of your current paid billing period.
If an automatic renewal charge fails (e.g., due to an expired card or insufficient funds), Stripe will attempt retry charges over a 7-day grace period. You will receive an automated notification to update your payment method. If payment cannot be completed after retries, your account will simply be transitioned to the Free tier. Your stored clients, invoices, and past timer history will not be deleted.
RateRun provides time tracking, expense calculation, and invoice generation tools to assist your workflow. However, you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, tax calculations (VAT/sales tax), and compliance of any invoices you send to your clients. RateRun is not an accounting firm or tax advisor.
When you publish or claim a listing in the RateRun Directory, you represent and warrant that the business information you submit is accurate, authentic, and does not violate any third-party intellectual property or copyright. We reserve the right to remove or edit listings that violate our community standards or contain spam.
All software, brand assets, logos, and UI designs of RateRun are the exclusive property of RateRun.Net. You retain 100% ownership of any data, client records, notes, and content you create and store within the application.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RateRun shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
